MEDIA, Pa. (December 9, 2019) – Barsz Gowie Amon & Fultz (BGA&F), a full-service accounting firm with offices throughout central and southeastern Pennsylvania, has announced that partner Peter R. Barsz, CPA, CGMA was one of two people appointed to the board of directors at S&T Bancorp, Inc. (S&T) (NASDAQ: STBA). The appointment will be effective as of immediately after and subject to the effective time of S&T’s merger with DNB Financial Corporation (DNB).

“I am thrilled to bring my financial and non-profit expertise to S&T’s board of directors,” said Barsz. “I know, we, the members of the board, will uphold the values of S&T Bancorp and govern in the best interest of the bank and its stakeholders.”

Barsz has been a director of DNB Financial Corporation since January 2018. He has extensive experience providing management and financial consulting services to governmental and non-profit entities, and providing tax preparation and consulting services to individuals and businesses. He also serves as the appointed treasurer for several townships in Chester and Delaware counties, and as chairman of the Pennsylvania State Tax Equalization Board.

William J. Hieb, president and chief executive officer of DNB and DNB First, N.A., was also appointed to the board.
