MEDIA, PA (March 2, 2020) – Barsz Gowie Amon & Fultz, LLC (BGA&F) announced today that Marissa Sperazza, E.A. and Juliet Onesti, CPA have each been promoted to partner. Sperazza formerly served as senior tax manager of the firm and Onesti served as audit manager.

In her role as senior tax manager, Sperazza managed and mentored fellow tax managers and was the team leader for the Chadds Ford office, among other responsibilities. She specializes in tax planning, income tax preparation, and support for small businesses and start-up companies, as well as individuals.

Sperazza began her career more than a decade ago with Steger, Gowie & Co., the firm that would eventually merge with Merves Amon & Barsz, LLC to become today’s Barsz Gowie Amon & Fultz LLC.  

In her role as audit manager, Onesti oversaw the firm’s attestation and auditing professionals, as well as the attestation and audit engagements. Throughout her career, Onesti has served in both the nonprofit and government sectors and has worked with professional associations, social service organizations and others.

Prior to joining BGA&F, Onesti spent eight years working with Marcum LLP, a top 15 international accounting firm, and 10 years with Margolis & Company, a large regional firm.

In their new roles as partner, Sperazza and Onesti will continue to perform their existing tax and audit duties, in addition to assisting the management of staff and ensuring the financial wellbeing of the firm.

Sperazza earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from West Chester University and her master’s degree in public accounting from Strayer University.

Onesti received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Temple University.
