MEDIA, PA (January 2023) – Barsz Gowie Amon & Fultz, LLC (BGA&F) announced today that Kristin A. Gavin, CPA has been promoted to partner effective January 3, 2023. Gavin formerly
served as senior tax manager for the firm working directly under Co-Managing Partners William (Bill) B. Gowie, Jr., CPA, MT and Michael I. Amon, CPA, CGMA, MT.

In her role as senior tax manager, Gavin oversaw a team of ten other managers, staff accountants, and bookkeepers while carrying her own book of business. She also oversaw the firms’ internship program and annual staff training. Gavin specializes in tax planning, tax preparation and consulting services for medium-sized businesses and start-up companies.

With deep roots in the Delaware Valley, Gavin began her career at two Delaware County public
accounting firms before joining Barsz Gowie Amon & Fultz as a senior accountant in 2017.

In her new role as partner, Gavin will now be involved in the firm’s strategic planning and growth efforts.

Gavin attended Villanova University during her senior year in high school as a Diocesan Scholar and graduated as valedictorian of her class from Cardinal O’Hara High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Villanova University School of Business in 2014. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Delaware County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Committee and Villanova University School of Business Mentoring Program.
