Peter provides management and financial consulting services to governmental and non-profit entities and provides tax preparation and advisory services to individuals and businesses. Peter also leads the municipal services group at BGA&F which consists of professionals working across the commonwealth.

He received a gubernatorial appointment in 2012 to serve as Chairman of the Pennsylvania State Tax Equalization Board (“STEB”) which he still holds. This independent agency gathers information on real estate sales throughout the state. The Pennsylvania Department of Education uses the data in its district funding formula.

Peter currently serves as the appointed Treasurer of Honey Brook Township, Chester County; West Caln Township, Chester County; Valley Township, Chester County; Pocopson Township, Chester County; Wallace Township, Chester County; Franklin Township, Chester County; East Marlborough, Chester County; Thornbury Township, Delaware County; and Bethel Township, Delaware County. Peter also serves as treasurer and consultant to numerous campaigns and Political Action Committees (PACs).

He has served as the Finance Director for the City of Coatesville, Chester County, and provides financial consulting services to numerous other Delaware and Chester County municipalities. He also acts as the real estate tax collector for Upper Providence Township, Delaware County, and Lower Chichester Township, Delaware County.

Dedicated to the well-being of the communities he works with, Peter sits on numerous for-profit and non-profit boards.

Appointed to the Legislative Audit Advisory Commission of the General Assembly, 2016-present
- This Commission serves as the audit committee for both the Pennsylvania Senate and House of Representatives.

- As Receiver, Peter had full responsibility for the academic and financial well-being of the district.
